2005 Yalumba FDW[7c] Chardonnay

Adelaide Hills

Yalumba FDW[7c]

Yalumba is one of Australia’s greatest wineries and the quality of their wines just keeps getting better and better.  The latest wine to attract my attention is their FDW[7c] Chardonnay.  FDW is the in house jargon for ‘Fine Dry White’ and 7C is their code for a special batch of Chardonnay.  This wine lives up to both of these claims, with its gorgeous aroma of nuts and fresh cream and its flavoursome yet reserved palate.  It is a wine for lovers of quality and complexity and at $24 it is an absolute bargain.

Available from fine wine stores.

Price: $24.00
