2007 Pike and Joyce Pinot Noir
Adelaide Hills, South Australia

From the Adelaide Hills comes this very agreeable wine. The nose is distinctly varietal with aromatic fruits and a little appealing stalkiness. The palate is very full and soft with piercing red berry flavours. There are no harsh edges and the finish is fine and long.
It is a wine of grace and finesse and is deserving of a fine meal as an accompaniment. Delicate meats with subtle earthiness, such as lamb or quail, would work well.
Available in fine wine stores.
