It is hard to go wrong with a bottle of Pewsey Vale so I strongly urge you to try one of their delicious wines the next time you visit your local wine shop. Under the guidance of the talented Louisa Rose, they are wines with intense flavours, finesse and well-defined acidity.

The latest wine of theirs to capture my attention is the 2007 Gewürztraminer. The rose, lychee and elderflower characters that this variety is renowned for are showcased within a bright and intensely flavoured palate. There is a little mid-palate fruit sweetness which lends the wine to pairings with chilli infused cuisine.
