2009 Mitchelton Blackwood Park Riesling
Nagambie, Victoria

Mitchelton’s Blackwood Riesling has long been one of Australia’s great value drops. In fact it has been made for 36 continuous vintages. But if it has been a few years since you have tried it then I strongly urge you to seek out a bottle of the newly released 2009 vintage.
This is, simply put, an excellent wine. It is very approachable and flavoursome yet is well-structured and balanced. I love the sweet-lemon and ripe lime characters as well as the gentle florals.
Buy yourself a case and drink with pleasure over the summer months. It really is perfect for any occasion.
