2004 Coldstream Hills Pinot Noir Chardonnay

I must confess that I am not easily impressed by sparkling wine. Most are a little dull and leave me wanting for more.
But I am pleasantly surprised with this classy bubbly from Coldstream Hills in Victoria’s Yarra Valley. It has a fine and delicate bead and the palate is flavoursome and deliciously creamy. It would make a fine addition to any Christmas or New Year celebration.
