Wirra Wirra is an established winery in McLaren Vale producing a fine array of wines. Their 2003 McLaren Vale Grenache is a sensational wine with rich, ripe, concentrated fruit characters. The wine is made from grapes which are sourced from old, low yielding vines giving the wine its power and personality. But what sets this wine apart from the crowd is its texture which is rounded, seamless and supple. This is the sort of wine to pull out now that the evenings have turned a little chilly. Perfect with flame grilled meats or roasted Mediterranean vegetables.
